Even though it was only for a couple of years, our time living next door to David and Pat was truly wonderful. We were very sad when they relocated to the South of England.

When we heard of David's passing we were devastated and quickly talked about our fond memories. We will remember David as the gentle-gentleman who lived next door. David always had time for a chat and kind words for our two children. He was a lovely man and our thoughts and prayers are with Pat for the days and years ahead.

There is a verse in the Bible that comes to our mind. It's in the New Testament, the book of Philippians, chapter 1 verse 3.it simply says: "Everytime I think of you I give thanks to my God." That is a very apt scripture. We give thanks to God for our memories of David. We are all the richer for having known him.
